Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, currently in custody in the Renukaswamy murder case, was transferred from Parappana Agrahara Central prison to Ballari prison on Thursday under heavy security. This move to Ballari Central Prison, also known as the ‘Kala Pani of Karnataka’ due to its poor amenities, signifies a new chapter for Darshan. It is anticipated that Darshan will remain at this facility for the month of September, and should there be a court appearance, it is expected he will attend via video call.
